Lights, Camera, Action!

Kaylin's 2nd meet of the 2018 Season was the Lights, Camera, Action meet at KPAC. It was a different format as the first as she was in a rotation and timeframe without any of her teammates. The team she was with told our coaches that Kaylin wasn't allowed to warm up with them. I had no idea bad sportsmanship would start at such a young age! Kiki only got a few short minutes to warm up on each event as she was the last one to warm up. All warm ups at competitions are timed for each event. I won't go on about it, but, it was a bit of a bummer. We felt like she wasn't treated fairly but, I digress. Her scores were not what they were at the first meet. She didn't make the podium this time around but her attitude was incredible. She stayed upbeat and positive and just chalked it up to a rough meet and a learning lesson. She had a couple of weeks off before her next meet and she was ready to hit the gym to improve her skills. We are proud of you, Kiki!
